So my daughter happens to be one of the sweetest most thoughtful little dolls on the planet. Her room did NOT reflect that, and it made me very sad. So I started to plan. Then I got really very excited. So I started to paint. It's a nice blush rose pink. Rather light and not too over-powering, but definitely satisfies the girl in her.
The next step was to stencil. For some reason I was absolutely terrified of the stencil. Ridiculous, yes. I got over my fear- jumped in and started to paint. And I LOVE LOVE it!
It's in a darker purple, with a great lighter apple green.
Well, her doors were awful. The people before us..... well, I don't understand, but that is what paint is for, right?
Before.
After. (with the added stencil)
When she saw it she squealed. It made my hear happy.
Enjoy your virtual tour!
So now she has a room that is more of a reflection of who she is.
And I also love that she can grow with it.
We also did it for around $200.
4 gallons of paint (2 light pink, one purple, and one green)
Sealer for the wood. We wanted to keep it natural looking.
Then the bedding. Which I think makes all the difference in the world.
She loves it and that makes it worth all of it!
